Inquisitor Belkus Rodal and his Retinue

Building and painting this warband was very special for me because it was the first real warband I ever made. It took me a while to complete this post but here it is.

The Miniatures

Belkus Rodal // Inquisitor

Forged in decades of battle, this Inquisitor has seen a lot of things. From the abysmal depths of the society in Hive Cities to the cruelest character a creature can have. The mission Rodal has is to exploit the heretic. No matter how. If that includes using the power of the warp for example he doesen’t hesitate to do so. His retinue contains some powerful individuals who also use xeno weapons and psychic powers. Whatever it takes to fulfil the mission.

Some say this is a very radical way of serving the holy throne. In the end Rodal’s ultimate goal is to serve and protect the holy imperium of mankind.

Kaeya Glef // Acolythe

As an Interrogator in Belkus Rodal’s retinue Kaeya Glef is the right hand of her mentor. Already a powerful individual herself she’s bearing the Blade of Morhai. An ancient Craftworlds weapon. She is also a versed psyker. She’s carrying old scrolls and documents from long forgotten realms with her. Some with daemon names some with psycic litany on them to defeat the enemies of holy Terra.

Vidas Gavrad // Spiritual Master of the Blade. Bearer of wisdom. Bringer of epiphany.

Gavrad is the spritual authority within this warband. With his deep knowledge and wisdom his role is to give advice in delicate situations.He is equipped with the Banner of Wisdom with powerful words on old scrolls. And as a weapon he carries the Teeth of Wrath, a Xeno Chainsword with unknown powers within which are still to remain to be unveiled.

Caphriel // Daemonhost

Caphriel is a daemon in a posessed individual whose appearrance is rather intimidating. Powerful on the battlefield and bound to his master, Inquisitor Rodal. The flickering essence seems like it’s often not completely in our reality. It’s rather between the worlds. Caphriel has enormous psychic powers to unleash upon the enemy. Now in duty of the holy emperor Caphriel wants to break out of his prison of flesh at any given chance. But so far Inquisitor Belkus Rodal was always one step ahead.
