Hello friends!

Yes, it’s been a while… again. Yes, a hobby pause… again!

But so what. Life happens to all of us. Sometimes this is important sometimes that is important. And honestly I can’t say how long I will stay this time but the plan is to create some cool stuff in the future.

Now let’s dive into the hobby stuff, shall we?

So what’s up on the workbench? I was working on an Adeptus Mechanicus army project… yeah…I ditched that. At least for now. I’m not planning another big army project at the moment. I rather want to create small warbands with a nice narrative and background story.

Why that?

A couple weeks ago a good friend of mine talked about how he want to create a big campaign. Spanning over a year or so based on the Warhammer 40k rules and lore. But with small forces, warbands, or even single models, bossfights against demons and such. More of a roleplay if you will. I know it’s been done before by other hobbyists. Foremost by my heroes IRON SLEET with their PILGRYM campaign and other projects.
However, I immediately had this picture in my head of working on all the cool unique units. Converting and painting has always been my main focus in my hobby life since the beginning. I was so excited when I heard him talk about this narrative campaign. Actually, this is why I’ve found back into the hobby.

In the next post I will show you some sneak peeks of the first group I created. It’s going to be an imperial headhuntress and her retinue. I don’t want to leave you without a little teaser though.
