Hello friends!

Today I want to share with you my mission marker I finished a while back. It’s basically chapter relics.

  1. Space Marine backpack with very very important paper stuff ready to recover
  2. A transmitter for localization purposes or something you have to activate to get supplements
  3. A holy Bolter on a shrine with a purity seal and some sort of bone relic
  4. Space Marine backpack with a sword attached to it. Like a powerful chapter weapon

Work in progress shot of the mission marker

In the picture above you see a WIP shot of the mission marker. For the bases I used the same technique I’m using for my normal Space Marine bases. You can read about that here. The blocks for the numbers are made of Forge World sprue left overs. Space Marine shoulder pads were attached to them.

I saw this conversion on the new Warhammer Community page, I loved the pose and I had to steal it. The one on the website looks like he’s holding it loosely because the knife points downwards. I wanted to spice it up a little bit and tried to make it look more aggressive. Like he’s hiding it, or is ready to cut a throat within the next second. ‘Surprise!’

Here are two battlebrothers I built yesterday. The one on the left is a classic with a knife and Bolter. But note that he’s left handed. A matter of pride, because I’m lefty too!
The other one is reloading his Bolter holding the magazine.  I just cut two magazines off a bolter and glued them together, voilá there you have it. I also cut out the slot on the bottom of the Bolter where the magazine goes in.
